It's only mid-November and already our Christmas has been made with the unveiling of the new Harrods window, featuring the magnificent Steiff for Christian Louboutin teddy bears. The iconic French and German brands teamed up to create these fabulous bespoke bears, featuring the fashion brand's distinctive red sole and an array of bear-y glamorous outfits to match the latest shoe and handbag collections. A truly collaborative effort, the project began with a meeting at Portrait Towers, swiftly followed by the French team heading to Germany to visit the factory to view samples, followed by an array of fantastical ideas from the creative genius himself. Red soles, sparkles and Steiff - what more could a girl want for Christmas?

Our top picks include the swanky Goldfinger apartment sofa, the rustic Antibes collection and the futuristic Ultra table. And we definitely have our eye on the new Jacques bar cart and groovy Malachite barware for the upcoming Christmas season!

What makes a great Living Etc house? Good bone structure, a well-considered colour scheme, a clever mix of design classics and personal pieces and a touch of humour according to editor Suzanne Imre. And cover star Jonathan Adler’s New York apartment has it all. We were absolutely thrilled to read all TEN pages of the at home feature with Jonathan, husband, Simon Doonan and dog, Foxy Lady in September’s Living Etc. With thanks to Suzanne, Mary Weaver, Amy Wong and Andrea Childs – it has made our month!

What better way to kick off the weekend than a fabulous feature on our very first client, Original BTC? In the wake of their recent Queen's Award win and tete-a-tete with The Queen, The Telegraph's Design Editor, Talib Choudry, got up close and personal with the British manufacturing group. According to Talib, 'desirable objets with a Made in Britain label and flying off our shelves and it's down to one company' - we couldn't have said it better ourselves!

Did the worst tube strike in a decade - if not history - stop us having yet another storming press show? No, it did not! Big thanks to all those who braved public transport and of course, congratulations to Team Portrait - Rachel, Sophia, Phoebe, Egle, Emma, Jade, Kate and Lizzie - for making this year's show bigger, better and more gorgeous than ever before! We've bid a sad goodbye to our Steiff polar bears, reindeer and penguins and now the real work of gift guides and decorating shoots galore begins. We'll see you all again next year...

The doorbell is ringing every five minutes with couriers heaving crates of goodies, the gift and decorating guides have gone to print and the Steiff animals have flown in from Germany ready to be transported to the Vinyl Factory for our press show this Thursday. Can you spot the small creature of German origin who'll be travelling in by taxi, rather than cardboard box?

Born in London in 2009, new Portrait client Olli Ella has grown to become a global home decor brand for the modern family, with an ever-expanding collection of nursing chairs, rugs, nursery furniture, 100% cotton organic baby bedding and more. Founded on the belief that just because something is made for a nursery, it needn’t look out of place elsewhere, every piece is made for a child’s space, but looks equally at home in grown-up spaces. Including British royalty and A-list celebrities amongst its fans, Olli Ella is making the future bright for mini design aficionados - and their families.
